Paula Kotzé presented the keynoted address at the 2012 IASTED Africa Health Informatics Conference

Prof Paula Kotzé, from the Enterprise Knowledge Engineering and Management Group (MEKE), has delivered the Keynote Address at the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED) Health Informatics 2012 Conference, held in Gaborone. Botswana, from 2 to 6 September 2012. Her talk focused on the interlink between technical and social aspects, i.e. socio-technical issues, in me-health (the use of mobile and other ICT devices in healthcare). Her talk illustrated the dependencies of these issues and how they impact on the implementation of successful ICT system for healthcare.
